Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces of aged rum
  • 1/2 ounce of orange liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce of pure maple syrup
  • 1 whole egg
  • Ice
  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary
  • Grated fresh nutmeg for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the aged rum, orange liqueur, maple syrup, and the whole egg in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Cover and shake until the mixture starts to emulsify, approximately 45 seconds.
  3. Add ice and the sprig of rosemary to the shaker.
  4. Cover and shake until the outside of the shaker is frosted, about 30 seconds.
  5. Strain the mixture into a glass and garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
