Ginger Blossom Martini

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup water
- 0.25 ounces dried hibiscus
- 1 tablespoon agave nectar
- 1.50 ounces hibiscus tea (1 shot)
- 1.50 ounces Meyer (or other) fresh lemon juice (1 shot)
- 6 slices fresh ginger, very thinly sliced
- Ice
- 1.50 ounces gin (1 shot)
- 1.50 ounces white vermouth (1 shot)
- Lemon twist, for garnish
Instructions
- Boil water and remove from heat. Steep hibiscus until cool, then sweeten with agave nectar.
- Muddle the sliced ginger with the hibiscus tea and fresh lemon juice in a cocktail shaker.
- Add ice, gin, and vermouth to the shaker.
- Shake vigorously.
- Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a lemon twist.
