Ingredients
- 1 egg (separated into yolks and whites)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 oz gold rum
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1/2 oz gold rum
- 1/2 oz bourbon or whiskey
- hot water
- ground nutmeg
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks until smooth and add the ground spices, then blend well.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then carefully fold them into the yolk mixture.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar to the mixture, mixing thoroughly after each addition, and then blend in 1/2 oz of rum.
- To serve, pour the batter into a mug, add 1/2 oz of rum and 1/2 oz of whiskey, then top off with hot water.
- Stir the cocktail well and finish by sprinkling ground nutmeg on top.
