Ingredients
- 1 grapefruit wedge
- 2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
- 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon Hibiscus Simple Syrup
- 2 oz white tequila
- 1/4 cup club soda
- kosher salt for garnish
- 1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
Instructions
- Boil water in a small pot, then remove from heat and steep hibiscus flowers for 5 minutes. Strain out the flowers.
- Return the pot to the stove, add sugar, and dissolve over medium heat. Allow the hibiscus syrup to cool before using.
- Rim a highball glass with a grapefruit or lime wedge, then dip the rim in kosher salt.
- Mix grapefruit juice, lime juice, and hibiscus simple syrup in the glass, then stir in tequila.
- Add ice and top off with club soda. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
