Holiday Spice Eggnog Delight
A rich and creamy holiday eggnog, infused with the mellow spice of Basil Hayden(r) Bourbon.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz Basil Hayden(r) Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
- Nutmeg (for garnish)
Instructions
- Separate the eggs.
- Beat the egg yolks until creamy.
- Whip the sugar into the egg yolks.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until they form peaks, adding 1/2 tbsp additional sugar if desired.
- Combine the beaten egg yolks with Basil Hayden(r) Bourbon.
- Gently fold in the beaten egg whites.
- Whip the cream until it thickens.
- Add the whipped cream and milk to the egg mixture.
