Ingredients

  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons half and half
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon Spiced Rum
  • 1 tablespoon Brandy
  • 1 tablespoon Bourbon
  • Pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg yolk and sugar until thick and pale.
  2. In a separate container, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, half and half, vanilla extract, Spiced Rum, Brandy, and Bourbon.
  3. Gradually pour the liquid mixture into the egg yolk and sugar while mixing on low speed, then increase to medium-low until just combined.
  4. Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl to ensure all ingredients are well incorporated.
  5. Stir in a pinch of nutmeg before pouring the eggnog into a glass.
  6. Seal the glass tightly and refrigerate for at least two weeks before serving.
  7. Shake well and add a sprinkle of nutmeg before serving.
