Ingredients
- 1/2 cup plain thick yogurt
- 1 cup cold water
- 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin (coarsely crushed)
- 3-4 large mint leaves
- 2-3 sprigs of cilantro leaves
- Salt and sugar, to taste
- 1/2-inch fresh ginger, peeled and roughly chopped
- 1/2 green chili, slit in half and seeds removed
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a blender, combine yogurt, water, roasted cumin, mint leaves, cilantro leaves, ginger, salt, and sugar.
- Blend until smooth. Strain for a smoother texture, if desired.
- Pour the mixture into a jar and add the green chili for infusion. For a spicier version, blend the green chili with other ingredients before straining.
- Serve cold with ice cubes.
