Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz gin
- 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 oz lavender simple syrup
- 1 egg white (optional)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 Tbs culinary lavender
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine water, sugar, and culinary lavender. Heat until the sugar dissolves to create the lavender simple syrup. Let it cool for a few minutes.
- Strain the lavender simple syrup using a fine mesh strainer, cheesecloth, or nut milk bag into a lidded container. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine gin, lemon juice, lavender simple syrup, and egg white. Shake vigorously until foamy.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake again until cold.
- Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass. Allow the foam to settle on top before serving.
