Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Alphonso mango pulp (sweetened)
  • 1/2 cup plain or natural yogurt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • a pinch of ground cardamom
  • 3 tbsp white rum (omit for non-alcoholic)
  • 1 tbsp orange liqueur (omit for non-alcoholic)
  • sugar (optional, to taste)
  • ground cardamom
  • saffron chili threads

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine mango pulp, yogurt, milk, ground cardamom, white rum, and orange liqueur.
  2. Blend for 20 seconds, then taste and add sugar if desired.
  3. If the lassi is too thick, add a little more milk and blend for another 10 seconds.
  4. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
  5. Optional: Serve over ice for an extra cold treat and garnish with a sprinkle of cardamom and saffron chili threads.
