Ingredients
- 1 egg (yolk separated from the white)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 ounce gold rum
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1/4 ounce gold rum
- 1/4 ounce bourbon or whiskey
- hot water
- ground nutmeg
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolk until smooth and add the spices, then mix well.
- In another bowl, beat the egg white until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the egg whites into the yolk mixture, then add the powdered sugar in two parts, mixing well each time.
- Stir in 1/2 ounce of rum.
- Transfer 2 ounces of the batter into a mug and add 1/4 ounce of rum and 1/4 ounce of whiskey.
- Top off with hot water, stir, and sprinkle ground nutmeg on top.
