Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh raspberries
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz raspberry syrup
  • 1/2 oz triple sec
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • Raspberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the water, sugar, and raspberries over medium heat until it simmers, about 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and lightly crush the raspberries with a spoon.
  3. Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a cup and set aside. It can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
  4. Combine the vodka, raspberry syrup, triple sec, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker with ice.
  5. Shake for 20 seconds and strain into a chilled martini glass.
  6. Garnish with raspberries.
