Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1 strip of lemon zest (about 1-inch wide)
  • 1 very ripe pear
  • Dash of lemon juice
  • 1 oz pear vodka
  • 1 oz unflavored vodka
  • 2 tablespoons pear puree
  • 2 tablespoons rosemary syrup
  • 1/8 cup prosecco or sparkling wine
  • Ice
  • Rosemary sprig for garnish

Instructions

  1. Create the rosemary simple syrup by combining sugar and water in a saucepan, then simmering and steeping with rosemary.
  2. Blend the pear with a splash of lemon juice to make the pear puree.
  3. In a shaker with ice, combine both vodkas, pear puree, and rosemary syrup, and shake well.
  4. Strain the mixture into a large martini glass.
  5. Top with prosecco to taste and garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig.
