Saffron Spice Whisky Lemonade
A bright and refreshing lemonade with a twist, blending Irish whiskey, lemon, and ginger, accented by saffron and cinnamon.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Irish Whiskey (Bushmills used here)
- 2 dashes Cinnamon Bitters
- 0.50 oz Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp Honey Syrup (1:1*)
- 1/3 cup Water
- 1 Lemon Wheel
- 3 thinly sliced ginger slices
- 1/4 pinch Saffron
- 1/2 Cinnamon Stick
- 1 handful of ice cubes
Instructions
- Place ginger slices and saffron in an empty teabag.
- Add the teabag, lemon wheel, and ice cubes to a Spärkel bottle.
- Pour in the whiskey, cinnamon bitters, lemon juice, honey syrup, and water.
- Break the cinnamon stick in half, add it to the bottle, and close the lid.
- Place the Spärkel bottle in the machine and set it to level 3.
- Once the cocktail is ready, pour it over fresh ice and stir with the additional cinnamon stick.
