Ingredients

  • Handful of ice
  • 1 oz Triple Sec (Cointreau)
  • 1.50 oz Blanco Tequila (El Tequileño)
  • 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
  • Pinch of Maldon Salt
  • 1 lime wedge

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle a generous pinch of Maldon Salt onto a small plate and set aside.
  2. Moisten the outer rims of a rock glass by running a lime wedge around them, then dip the rims into the Maldon Salt. Set aside.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, Cointreau triple sec, and lime juice. Fill with ice and shake until thoroughly chilled, approximately 15 seconds (until the shaker frosts over).
  4. Fill the prepared glass with fresh ice and strain the margarita mix into it.
