Ingredients

  • 1/8 pineapple (cut into pieces)
  • 1 large sprig of fresh basil
  • 3/8 cup 100% pineapple juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons rum
  • 1/2 cup white wine (use riesling for a sweeter sangria)
  • 1/2 cup ginger beer (may substitute with sparkling water)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Place half of the pineapple slices and the basil sprig in the bottom of a large pitcher.
  2. Pour in the pineapple juice, rum, white wine, ginger beer, and lemon juice, then stir to combine.
